The future of Dong Bang Shin Ki may be cloudy at the moment, but fans can take heart in the fact that there are still a few activities to look forward to. As most of us already know, both Yunho and Changmin have their respective dramas to film. As for the rest of the group, it’s been announced that Jaejoong and Yoochun will be featured on an m-flo tribute album, which is set to release this September. Junsu? I hope he’s getting some quality frolic time in.
For those who don’t know much about m-flo, they are a Japanese hip-hop group that formed in 1999. They were a solid trio until 2003, when their female member, Lisa, left to pursue her own career. Currently, m-flo is the fabulous mix of DJ Taku Takahashi and emcee Verbal. (Quick trivia: Verbal is ethnically Korean.) Long story short, these guys have been together for ten years and now they’re releasing a tribute album in honor of this anniversary.
As I previously mentioned, DBSK’s Jaejoong and Yoochun are going to take part in this project–which, by the way, will be titled, “M-flo TRIBUTE -maison de m-flo.” They’re dueting for a song called, “Been So Long” (check out the original in the video here). Incidentally, Jaejoong and Yoochun are releasing an unrelated duet called “COLORS Melody and Harmony” that’s the image song celebrating Hello Kitty’s 35th birthday.
Other people who will contribute to m-flo’s tribute album include: Aoyama Thelma, Shimizu Shota, misono, May. J, Nishino Kana and COMA-CHI. You can expect “M-flo TRIBUTE -maison de m-flo” on September 16th.
I like Jaejoong and Yoochun a lot, and I love m-flo. I can’t wait to hear this song. Actually, I can’t wait to hear the whole album!
