G-Dragon’s girlfriend is not…
Posted under: Kiko. Since one of my most popular articles is about the rumor of G-Dragon and Mizuhara Kiko dating, I thought I’d provide you with an update. I even edited that post to underline the fact that it was unlikely to be true, but I know we’re all still wondering! G-Dragon is keeping his relationship under wraps, so we honestly can’t know for sure about anything. Of course, I still stand by my claim that it’s WAY too fun to speculate.
In a Nate news article, translated by knucklepink@DaragonHideout.com and posted on Big Bang Updates, G-Dragon wondered why people keep pairing him with Kiko when she’s actually friends with all of Big Bang. In fact, TOP spoke up with, “Kiko befriended me the most actually,” which suggests that the idea of GD and Kiko dating is absurd. Here is a blurb from the original article:
This is the first time that G-Dragon has spoken to directly deny this. G-Dragon said, “Kiko was introduced to the members by the president of a Japan agency, and we have gone to eat meals together several times,” he continued, when asked about how the rumors about them being in a relationship started, “I have called several model friends to go shopping together when I got more interested in clothes. That must have been the cause of the misunderstanding,” he speculated.
To be honest, I think some of what they’re saying is bizarre, but it might just be things getting lost in translation. For instance, the part where GD talks about getting MORE into fashion? For some reason that response implies that all of this happened somewhat recently, but it’s clear that he’s been into fashion for quite a while. I suppose Big Bang’s been promoting in Japan since 2008, however, so you never know. Also, it’s funny to me that they didn’t deny this more clearly before, but perhaps it wasn’t worth their time.
I think it should be noted that this doesn’t sound like an excuse to throw Kiko and TOP into relationship-territory, although it may be to deflect from real ~romantic~ things that might be happening elsewhere. Korean VIPs evidently know the relationship statuses of all of Big Bang, including GD and TOP. Of course, they won’t divulge the juicy information, being that they’re dedicated fans and (understandably) want to protect and respect the privacy of Big Bang. They did reveal that GD and Kiko are not dating, however, and I’m going to say that they are the ones to believe.
I was waiting for the day back in August when an idol was going to confirm to be dating and hoped it was G-Dragon to be honest. But I won’t be surprised if he’s next.

Shes not..when the rumor came out she’s in a relationship with a Japanese artist. It was just something that Japanese media made up and of course it’s not new, celebs were paired up, like an idol to this model etc. However GD clarified the issue, he denied it once, then denied it again last January. Isn’t that a big blow if theyre actually dating? It is not his nature to speak about certain issue, he may shut his mouth but instead he talked about it. He seemed he was fed up, pissed and tired. It was said, GD has a long term relationship going on, it could be a rumor or not, but it’s an open secret to kvips. They dont dwell that much nor they talk about it, but definitely not this girl..that’s why Kvips didnt give that much attention to that rumor coz they know within themselves that was purely nothing.
